About David Crum

Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, David left behind the great rolling plains of the midwest for an East Coast education. After graduating from law school in Washington, D.C., David and his soon-to-be-wife Melissa moved to New Mexico where they spent the next twenty years building their careers and raising a daughter. Over the course of two decades, David invested countless hours into running a successful business and becoming a top-tier litigator. This investment paid off, as David has expanded a single law office in New Mexico into one of the largest family law firms in the nation, with multiple offices in New Mexico, Nebraska, Colorado, and Kansas.

As the founder and CEO of U.S. Legal Groups, David’s oversight of more than 40 attorneys has given him the unique opportunity of observation. David has observed the similarities and differences, the successes and failures, the best and worst practices that exist in family law among many communities.

David has taken these observations and turned them into insights, which he has combined with decades of his own litigation experience, and created a program to help people through divorce and family law cases. David has seen firsthand how difficult, disorienting, and emotionally taxing this process can be–and he’s seen how families suffer as a result.
